American Law Institute (ALI)
The American Law Institute produces scholarly work to clarify, modernize, and otherwise improve the law. The Institute drafts, discusses, revises, and publishes Restatements of the Law, model statutes, and principles of law that are enormously influential in the courts and legislatures, as well as in legal scholarship and education.
The Office of the Federal Register
The Office of the Federal Register provides access to the official text of federal laws, presidential documents, administrative regulations and notices, and descriptions of federal organizations and programs. They also administer the Electoral College and the constitutional amendment process.

CBO assists the House and Senate Budget Committees, and the Congress more generally, by preparing reports and analyses. In accordance with the CBO's mandate to provide objective and impartial analysis, CBO's reports contain no policy recommendations.

Best of the Blogosphere: ABA Journal
The ABA Journal second annual list of the best legal blogs, which is broken down into several categories: News & Politics, Niche, Legal Theory, & JDs in training. The list put a premium on blogs that broke news in 2008, or were among the first to provide trenchant analysis of breaking legal news stories. They also focused on bloggers who made the most of audio and video (in our new podcast category) or social networking applications.

The White House
A new administration means a new website for the White House. Although very much a work in progress at this stage, the new site features a regularly updated blog on the activities of the President and his administration. Also included are links to "Presidential Actions," which includes Executive Orders and Presidential Memoranda.
UN Legal Publications Portal
This new site provides legal researchers with one stop shopping for many of the U.N.'s most important legal documents. Included in the site are links to the U.N. Juridical Yearbook, the Reports of International Arbitral Awards, and a variety of UNCITRAL publications.

The Office of the Solicitor General is tasked to conduct all litigation on behalf of the United States in the Supreme Court, and to supervise the handling of litigation in the federal appellate courts. The general functions of the Office can be found at 28 CFR 0.20.

American Judicature Society
The American Judicature Society works to maintain the independence and integrity of the courts and increase public understanding of the justice system. The AJS is a nonpartisan organization with a national membership of judges, lawyers and other citizens interested in the administration of justice.
LLMC Digital (Restricted Access)
The goal of this program is to make available online to patrons all titles included in LLMC's extensive microfiche backfile, and many additional titles. At the time of beginning the online service in 2003, LLMC’s backfile of filmed materials numbered approximately 50-million page images. It is anticipated that additional data capture over about a decade will roughly equal another 50-million page images.
